Past 20 weeks...time is flying!

Seems like time is flying here in the 2nd trimester! Had our 20 week ultrasound and it went great! Everything looked good, the baby is actually one week bigger than where I'm at, she weighed 14 oz, JT thinks it's great, I'm thinking...big baby that I have to push out! We were overwhelmed with our cupcake reveal, it took JT a minute to sink in that he was having a little girl. I think he just figured it'd be a boy and he'd know what to teach him, I think he was afraid that he didn't know what to teach a little girl. However, a week has passed and he's so excited and happy that it's silly to look back and be a little bummed. In his family, the tradition is for the father to pick out the "going home from the hospital" outfit, he already has that done :) He already told me that she is going to learn how to change a tire, get greasy, and go to the derby shop with him. My dad told me he's teaching her how to shoot a gun...I wonder what's left for me to teach her :)
My mom and I are going registry shopping on Mother's Day, I don't know who's more excited. We're going to Babys R Us and Target to register, I'm looking forward to it, can't wait!
Jt and I also have a contractor coming to put up our chair railing which will be done before we put together the furniture. JT mentioned today that him and I should do it together on a Friday evening and have fun with it...just watching him put everything together will be fun for me :)
