So last night was pretty intense; At 11:30 I had to go to the er because I was having 4 contractions an hour for two hours straight. They monitored me for two hours and I did have some, but they were very inconsistent and towards the end I had started sleeping through them. They checked my cervix however and I am almost dilated to a two and am about 50% effaced.
I went to see my OB today and got an ultrasound done. Alison is still measuring two weeks bigger than she's supposed to so my doctor isn't sure when I'm even due anymore. As of right now our main goal is to keep her in for at least a month. But my placenta is looking good, my urine looks good, and blood pressure is still low.
I also finally got the results from my glucose test and I passed. So we know she's not on the larger side due to gestational diabetes.
If my contractions begin getting consistent or painful then I need to go to the er immediately. Also if I start bleeding or my water breaks.
But on a side note, Sean's mom and dad surprised us today and not only drove out to our small town and saw where we live for the first time (we've been together and living together for 3 years), but they also bought us a crib. It's all set up in our room until we can clean Alison's room. And then we all went out to lunch. It was great.
And we got our maternity pictures done yesterday. I got to see a preview of them today and they turned out amazing. Nathan cooperated and it was just fun.
