I'm trying not to be worried, and am elated at the same time!

We saw our little tot - she (for the sake of brevity, I'm calling he/she a she... I've got a feeling. Lol) is measuring about a week behind. They said 6w4d. I'm entirely sure of my exact ovulation date though, and should be 7w4d... so maybe she's a late implanter? Would that really make a whole week's worth of difference? :/ A little uncomfortable about that, but everyone seemed to think it was just fine, so that's reassuring. I'm wondering if her being small has anything to do with my "low" HCG levels... maybe they were so low because she was late? Who knows.

She has a heart beat of 134 beats a minute. My DH actually teared up a little (it was ADORABLE) because this is his first. I'm so excited to go through all of it with him.

I was worried about the week behind when you first said it but as soon as I saw the fact you had seen a heartbeat - that changes everything in an instant!!! My midwife told me in the beginning that once a HB is detected there is less than 5% chance of miscarrying for the general population and for most people with healthy pregnancies - less than 1%! So looks like you're good to go! Don't be surprised if your little bean catches up, or not. All looks great so far!

Au, that makes me feel so much better! I'm trying to keep the "what will be, will be" mentality but its difficult. Lol. I'm excited - there is a heart beat! That must be good. :)

I tried to respond to this yesterday, but my computer froze :( I had an US at 6w5d and baby measured 6w1d with hb of 131. I went back exactly a week later and baby was measuring 8w1d and grew 2 weeks worth in just 1 week. I've measured about 5 days larger since then. So, don't be discouraged my measuring smaller... there's plenty of time for growth spurts! And I spent the entire week worrying for nothing ;)

Awh how cute! My lil ones heart was 171. Isn't the heartbeat just PRECIOUS? :)

Yay, Kenpo! Lol. I'm trying not to get excited but I totally am. I don't go back again until July 2nd, so there's plenty of "cool your heels" time.

It may have just taken her longer to implant. You have a good strong heartbeat and I was just reading somewhere today that the statistical chance of miscarriage goes way down once a heartbeat has been detected, so YAY! :-)
