11 Weeks, 5 Days...

I have reached a milestone with this pregnancy. Yesterday based on bub's measurements I was 11w4d which is the point that we got to last time when we miscarried. It was a rough day... I actually stayed home from work as it was troubling me so much. I cleaned a bit (which I tend to do when I'm feeling anxious, stressed or even angry!) and then by 2pm I was exhausted, nausea had kicked in and it was time to lay on the couch and watch movies...
I survived the day, and more importantly so did this little one. We listened to the heartbeat this morning and I couldn't help but cry. It was almost as emotional as the very first time we heard it - such a huge relief :-)
Having said all this, based on LMP I'm still only 11w2d today. But measurements now correspond to my ovulation date so I have amended everything. Not sure if that's cheating or not but I've done it anyway lol ;-)
9 days until my NT scan. And counting!!

I think once you have had a loss it makes it much for difficult to relax, I am right there with you, I lost my previous at 12 weeks and now I am only newly prego again. So it will be a long road. Its always a glorious moment to hear that heart beat :) |
