Yesterday I found out I am pregnant!! It was a surreal, magical morning. I honestly thought the test was going to be negative, so I promised myself coffee and a pedicure if it was negative. As the urine went across the window of the test, the line had already begun to show! I was in disbelief and started crying very happy tears. I took a picture of it and told the girls on the forum. Still shocked, I kept looking at the test, to make sure it was real. It was an emotional, stressful road getting here, but it's so worth it, to see those 2 beautiful pink lines. I was also surprised how dark it was; no question about it!
I called the clinic to ask about blood work, got ready, and went to the clinic. I had my blood drawn and then stopped to pick up a digital test. Within 30 seconds of dipping the digital test, it popped up "pregnant"! The rest of the day I was just in a blissful haze, and I got a call from the nurse confirming my test came back pregnant. I'm scheduled to go in for my referral stuff/paperwork next Wednesday, July 31st, where I will pick my OB clinic and delivery hospital!
When Jim got home, I told him I had a gift for him. He unwrapped the "I get my Jedi powers from daddy" onesie, which he said was cute. Then I had him open the wrapped pregnancy tests, and he ready the digital one and said "Are you?! Really?!" and was so happy! I have it on video; it couldn't have been more perfect! I can't wait until our first ultrasound and baby's heartbeat..then we can tell our immediate family! Estimated due date: April 1, 2014!
