Found these prompts online...a great way to avoid the work I need to do...lol
Three things you began to see differently since becoming pregnant.
1. My mother
2. How I care for myself mentally and physically
3. Other moms and how they are super heros
What are your hopes and dreams for the future? Be able to show my son the important things in life...family, travel to amazing places, teach him valueable life lessons and to appreciate everything life as to offer. I want my family to be strong, successful, and most importantly HAPPY.
Have you always wanted to be a parent? Yes. When I was a teen, I avoided it like the plague (that was a lesson I learned from my teen mom friends), but once I was an adult, it was all I could think about
How would you describe the ideal parent you hope to become? Strong, supportive, loving, and kind.
Who did you tell about your pregnancy first? My husband :)
Which parenting mistakes did your parents make that you swear not to repeat? Never were there for me when it came to my school activities, didn't teach me how to cook or do anything like that for myself, I had to learn everything. I did not have a routine at all, and I will make sure the baby has one starting from toddler age as best as I can. My dad wasn't there for me, but that is because he chose to move far away, something I know my husband will NOT do. He is a stick around kinda dude, like his dad and those who came before him. I will NOT judge my son for his decisions...something I experienced. My mom always tried to control my life, I did not get any freedom and that caused me to go the other direction. Kids need to make mistakes in order to learn.
How has your body changed and how do you feel about it? It hasn't so much...my cellulite has gotten worse, which sucks lol. I am mostly belly.
What is the first item you bought for your baby? Clothes!
Why did you find out/not find out the gender of your baby? We got a voluntary ultrasound before my husband left for business travel :)
How did you feel during the first ultrasound? SO NERVOUS. I did not know what to expect because it was SO early on and I had bad cramping. But the sac was there!
Who is most looking forward to your babyâ??s arrival? um ME DUH!!! LOL, I think everyone in the family but me the most.
Write about your favourite toy as a child. My Angel Bunny aka "Bunny"
Write about your siblings and what kind of aunty/uncle they might become. I don't have any, neither does my hubby. Only children :/ But I have a lot of friends who will be honorary aunts and uncles :)
What is the most amazing thing about being pregnant? Feeling him move! Its wild.
What is the hardest thing about being pregnant? Hormones...lol
What do you most look forward to when you meet your baby? Holding him....seeing him in person...just bonding with him
What do you think your baby will look like? Make a list of which facial features/ hair color/eye
Blonde like me, blue eyes, pronounced features like his dad, decent sized nose (wide like his dad), broad shoulders, thin but tall :) Maybe a birthmark or two, or freckles but not too many.
