Hospital/Birth Center Packing List?
By acrichton » Posted Apr. 3, 2014 8:37am - 222 views - 3 comments

Has anyone started it? I don't want to put on unnecessary items that will just take up space. If anyone has a template with the basic items please share :)

Emma's link was a good one. I pack pretty close to the last minute, lol.
If you are going to be a pacifier momma, don't forget those because I have seen a lot of hospitals have stopped giving those out in the interest of breastfeeding. They aren't necessary at all, but if you want them on hand, you will be the one who will probably need to provide them. I am bringing a heating pad with me this time for my breasts. Breast feeding goes better when your breasts are warm and soft, but hospitals are frigid and having hard/cold nipples makes breastfeeding a much harder experience.

I found lots of lists on Pinterest that were helpful. I looked for what was similar in all the lists and that's what I am going to pack.

I've started mine. I ALWAYS overpack.

But I found this blogger's list realistic and helpful. She shows what she didn't need and a couple things she wished she'd remembered.
