We are here in Michigan!

After 4 days if transition, we are finally here and settled in our temporary abode! I made an effort to go to the pool today and it was glorious! I was there about two hours and loved every minute despite the intermittent clouds.
Swimming with this big belly was quite interesting! But didn't bother me too much, I made my lap around and then tried to float around lol. Im sure anyone watching my try to swin was amused!
I love the town we are staying in! Too bad we couldn't buy here :( It so expensive but MUCH closer to what we are used to in terms of location, amenities, shopping access, etc). Our soon to be town isn't really my cup of tea, and I will have to travel at least 15-20 mins to get to any sort of mommy group :( The only alternative to being able to stay in this town (Novi, MI), is to get a job after the baby is about a year. If I can get a director job, we can get a little equity in our house after fixing it up and doing some renos, then sell it and hopefully come away with enough for a down payment. I guess we will wait and see!
The drive out here wasnt bad at all. My in-laws followed us in their truck with all our stuff, and we traveled with our two meowing cats lol. They meowed both days in the car but now they are as happy as can be! I almost don't want to leave this place they are so happy.
31 weeks...I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. I ended up in the hospital last week overnight because I was having issues with my colon. I have had diverticulitis before and had a flare up. There wasnt much they could do to diagnose me bc they didnt want to do a cat scan and risk the baby. I apparently had some contractions coupled with the colon pain, so it was not a fun 24 hours. Thankfully baby is okay and I am MUCH better!!
Hubby and I are going to see the new x men movie! I am so looking forward to our date night :) I can't wait! After 6 days of in-laws, I am ready for a break to just spend time with my husband.
