OK Ladies here is my question:
I am delivering at a teaching hospital. They sent me information on studies they are conducting on Pelvic Floor Changes during Pregnancy.
The requirement of the study would be for them to only do 2 things. 1 - Video tape the vaginal delivery, and 2- Place marker on the vaginal area to show changes during labor.
They pay $250, which is whatever and I don't care about the money really, I am a big advocate for research that help women. They clearly state that they will NOT interfere with your birth plan in any way whatsoever.
My poll question is basically, would you feel okay with the lady parts being filmed during the pushing stage? Yes or No?

 | Comment from Sianny » Posted Jul. 7, 2014 4:00am I didn't have to do a study but I delivered at a teaching hospital which was actually wonderful as I had three trainee nurses/midwives plus my two qualified delivery midwives and they waited on me have and foot. I would do it especially for the money and to know that you are helping birthing for the future |
