I have been dealing with a horrible, horrible migraine for 2 days now, going on day 3, on top of being sick. Wednesday I came down with some sort of stomach bug, which was bad. Spent most of the day extremely nauseous, and ended up spending the night hugging the toilet. Woke up Thursday feeling better, just very congested and only slightly nauseous. No fever, thankfully. Still dealing with the congestion, but I've been congested since I got pregnant this time around, so I'm pretty much used to that by now. The migraine though...oh God. I woke up Friday morning and there it was. I've kept my house as dark as I can, and going outside? Forget it. Even with sunglasses, it's too bright. But I am still trucking along. Yesterday, I managed to be outside long enough to paint the base of my son's dresser, but that was about it. I'm prone to migraines, but this is by far the worst one I've had since becoming pregnant this time. I have an ob appointment this Wednesday, so I am going to mention it to my doctor and see what she reccomends. I'd call her tomorrow, but we have to take my youngest to St Louis for a clubfoot check up at Shriner's, so if she wanted me to come in, I wouldn't be able to until Wednesday anyway. I'm hoping this migraine eases up enough this afternoon to take my oldest for a haircut. He needs one before school starts this week. And I still need to take him clothes shopping. Our WalMart has crap clothes in his size, so I think we're going to take him to Burlington and see what they have.

Anyways, all with Valerie seems to be well. She is becoming quite the little kicker the past few days. She was really going at it last night when I went to bed. I scooted up to my husband and pressed my belly into his back and let her kick him for a little bit. He kept laughing when she would kick his back, and even said it felt like she was going for the kidney. I told him to suck it up. lol. My oldest loves laying his head on my belly when she's kicking and hugging his baby sister. He says when she kicks, he imagines she's trying to hug him back. It's so sweet. My youngest just looks at me, like "Mommy, what is kicking me when you hold me? Why does your belly move?" His face looks quite comical.

Hopefully to figure out away to avoid the migraines in the future! Can't wait until I feel my little one kicking that much!
