Once you know, it's like everything changes... in the most amazing way.

well we had our 1st cervical scan today and as far as the tech knows all measurements were perfect! She said something about the length being about 38 and when she would put stress on my stomach nothing changed which I guess is great!! So before the tech did the scan she had to do a regular u/s which was amazing because we got to see the baby :) She checked the hb and said it was 138, at 1st that freaked me out because I thought it was low then it hit me, that's a boys hb. So then she started doing some measurements of the baby and all looks great and she said, "well, it looks like it could be a boy but from these positions its hard to be positive." So I was satisfied with that, and a few minutes later she looked from a different angle and says, "Holy Cow!!! Yup that's a boy!!!" I guess he takes after his daddy :) So when she said that hubby and I started laughing, then it hit me and all these emotions came rushing me all at once... we are having a boy.. then it hit me, we are having another boy, and that's when I just lost it. We never got to find out this way what our last son was. When we went to find out was the day my water broke and with no water in there they couldn't see. So we didn't know till he was born. Oh. My. Goodness. They defiantly don't warn you of all the feelings. It was amazingly bittersweet, and surreal. So after that amazing appt. we went out and bought some baby books lol then went to babies r us and bought some clothes lol then took hubbys parents out to lunch and showed them the u/s pics, as my MIL was looking she got to the last one (the one I have posted here) and looked and me and said is this for real? I started to cry and she cried and it was amazing! Everyone else was just as ecstatic! What a fantastic day!!! I was NOT expecting to find out today, since we have our anatomy scan in 2 weeks! But what a pleasant surprise it was!! It's crazy. Once you know, it's like everything changes... in the most amazing way.
