2nd membrane sweep done

Was hoping for some better news at the doctor appointment today but he said there wasn't much change in my cervix from last time. He did a more aggressive sweep to see if that would get things going. It hurt this time and my lower back pain instantly got worse. Afterwards we went to the mall so I could walk around and the pain in my back, lower stomach and pelvis just kept getting worse. I had a couple contractions but that was it. The pain was so bad on the way home I was in tears and thought for sure I would be going to the hospital soon. After I got home pain eased some so I laid down with the heating pad and tried to sleep a little. Still having bad back pain but not really any contractions. I'm so sore that every move baby makes is very painful. I'm so miserable I don't know how much more I can take. I can't hardly rest at all and I'm going to be completely wore out when it's finally time to have this baby.

I feel so bad for the ladies that go to 42 and 43 weeks! The thought of having a stillborn scares the crap out of me which is why I hope he comes soon and whenever I haven't felt him move in a while I freak! Hope you and your baby girl are off to a wonderful start:)

I'm so ready! Feels so strange to be pregnant this long haha. Had my first at 38 weeks and they took my twins over growth concerns at 36 weeks. Anxious to see how big this one is too since all mine have been so tiny.

Thank you I really hope it's soon. Was up most the night again just because I'm so uncomfortable and lower back hurts. Not having any contractions today so just going to try and enjoy Thanksgiving and getting mind off having this baby.
