Had my ultrasound at 1pm today and initially she started taking pictures of just the uterus and ovaries and things like that not even really looking at the baby at all. Let me tell you I was a nervous wreck! She even did this little head tilt thing sometimes when she was looking at pictures that totally made me panic more than once.
Baby is fine :) heartbeat of 126BPM and measuring 6w6d so i think instead of "the act" I had on the 9th, it was likely "the act" I ha on the 13th.
Super thrilled to se baby is 2-3 days older than my miscarried baby and displaying an very healthy heartrate! I know I'm not out of the woods yet but seeing him/her made me super happy and able to relax for now. My next OB appointment is in early February and I'm sure they'll let me have another over the belly one, which is great since we saw the HB both over the belly and vaginally today.
I already love this baby so much! Stick around little one :)

He is very understanding of my worries and brings in the ultrasound cart free of charge at every appointment :) I have another exam on Feb 6th and I'm sure he will yet again let me have another look at baby. I feel truly blessed to live in Portland, Oregon we have the best health providers in the country. |

I wish my doctor was great with ultrasounds, they only give one at 20 weeks, unless you beg them like I did. My first ultrasound is on the 22nd! I'm looking forward to it, so I too, can relax a little bit. Hope you are doing good! :) |
