Technically, I'm 36 weeks and 6 days, tomorrow 37 weeks. I woke up this morning at 4AM with crazy sharp stabbing pains in vaginal area (internal) radiating to my butt with achey stomach cramps. As I'm typing this I'm having the same pain. I've been doing lots of research on this and everything I've come across says these sharp stabbing pains could be linked to dilation/effacement. Just to ease my mind when I go this Friday (March 28, 2014) for my pre-natal checkup I will ask the professionals about this and request a cervix check. I can remember clearly not having this with my first pregnancy.
