Very productive week so far this week. I hit 28 weeks and started to track Elis movements. My baby is SO active and mostly at night! Ive even been told by my wife that I will be passed out at 1am and hes still kicking and dancing. She says she plays with him by pressing where he kicks and then he kicks her back. Im still a heavy sleeper because I dont recall these playtime episodes! Which makes me a little nervous that I sleep thorough this but Im sure that will change once hes here. Right now his movements at night soothe me to sleep resting assured hes doing ok.
I ordered my free breast pump through my insurance! It will arrive in 7-10 days. Its a basic pump from what Ive been told but anything to take one less expense away. Im sure it will do its job properly and thats all that matters.
I got information on how to add my newborn to my insurance to ensure he is covered for all his well appointments. My job makes it so easy and takes care of all the paperwork and if paperwork takes a while to process hes automatically covered for up to 30 days! So that makes my job easier!!
I have 2 upcoming appts. I have my regular 4 weeks checkup with my OB. Afterwards Ill be seeing him every 2 weeks till 36 weeks then weekly after till baby is here. Its literally FLYING by and makes me a little nervous but more excited than anything!! My second appt is a 3D/4D ultrasound! I cant wait for this one!! I havent seen him for 9 weeks since my halfway checkup at 19 weeks. And the place we are going to has high quality HD U/S machines that make the pictures look awesome. We will be able to see little Elis facial features, little arms, hands, legs and feet as if he was already born! Its sorta feels like we are cheating a little and getting a preview before hes even here but nothing will be better than once hes actually here and in my arms and I can stare into those eyes for hours!
I bought preggo jeans! And they make a HUGE difference!! I am 100xs more comfortable wearing jeans and the full band on the belly isnt so bad. I fill the jeans nicely now with still more room to grow and they are quite stylish! I found skinny type jeans and they even have a little jewel piece on the hips that doesnt make them look half bad.
Whew! I am tired already! LOL One other thing that I am looking forward to this weekend is we are having our LV Gay Pride weekend! The parade is this Friday night with the event on Saturday and a girl pool party on Sunday. It will be fun and look forward to spending more QT with my closest friends pre-baby. :O)
