Well my 28 week 3D/4D scan was a total bust!! My little Eli would not cooperate just how he didnt want to cooperate at this gender scan. I should have known my little man would be stubborn yet again. The only thing I can think of why he wasnt active was because I had just finished my yoga class about 45 mins ago and he was dancing around during it that he tired himself out. I did everything to get him to move; drank OJ, ice cold water, move to my sides, talk to him while poking my stomach. He was out and up against my placenta so there was too much tissue to get through we couldnt get a good picture. I was to have at least 6 photos and 2 DVDs of our session and I ended with just one decent photo. Fortunately the U/S place does free 2nd scans in case your 1st on is unsuccessful. That new appt is this Wednesday. Im an not getting my hopes up though. If he decided to show us his face or not alls thats important is hes healthy, heart beat is strong, and hes growing at the rate he should be. His mommies will just have to wait for his grand entrance to this world to get a good look at his cute button nose!!
This upcoming weekend is my 1st babyshower with mostly my family and a few friends. Im looking forward to see my family and showing off how big Ive gotten since the last time they have seen me. Last they saw me at was when I was about 13 weeks. My wife and I are control freaks so we have a lot to do to prepare for the party. Tonight I plan on wrapping the winner gifts for the shower games and putting together the party favors for everyone to take home. Our theme is a nautical seahorse and anchors theme so we have little sand buckets that I will fill up with her.sheys kiss.es. We have in a Her.shery Kiss.es tourist spot here in LV and we found these cute baby blue wrapped kisses that say its a boy on the tail of the wrapper! My wife is will be decorating the cupcakes using fondant to make the anchors and seahorses putting to good use her cake decorating skills. We are also preparing the food once we are home so it will be a busy and tiring weekend but I hope a great turnout! :o)
