Last weeks appt my Dr told me I was a boring patient! Rude! But a compliment. Everything is going well with baby Eli and I. We are both healthy and hes growing how hes supposed to. My coworkers threw me a baby shower on Friday along with another coworker thats also pregnant. Shes further along, about 6 weeks ahead of me. Shes also expecting a boy and its been nice to be the preggo girls to swap stories and tips with one another. We also cant wait for our boys to be born and set up play dates! We were saying at our baby shower that theres such thing as arranged marriages, our boys will be arranged buddies!! LOL The work baby shower was fun. My coworkers are sweet and made a sweet gesture to getting us a huge pack of diapers of all sizes as a gift. Opps apparently I didnâ??t tell anyone we are cloth diapering and those diapers wont be used. But I again was gracious and thanked them all for the gift. Fortunately I was able to take the pack of diapers back to Tar.get and was applied the refund on a gift card. I was then able to buy the cloth diapers I will be using so it worked out.
This past Saturday I worked my last day at a second job Ive had for the last year and a half. Yes I managed to work 2 jobs up until almost 8 months!! True this job I was only part time and worked maybe 7-13 hrs per week but add that to the 40+ hrs I work at my full time job and carrying an small human inside me! It worked out just fine in the 2nd trimester when my energy was really high but now in my 3rd I am definitely feeling the difference. It was bitter sweet to leave this job, the girls and manager were extremely accommodating to me and we grew close to them but its time for his mommy to slow down!
This Sunday was probably one of 1st bad pregnancy days Ive had in the last 31 weeks. I was weepy, achy, moody as heck, and just plain uncomfortable. My body was sore and Im not sure why and think it may have been the flu shot I went to go get on Sat to prevent getting sick. I really shouldnt have gotten out of bed that day but we had church to attend and then went to have lunch with friends. After lunch I was done! I demanded we go home and once there I went to my room and cried myself to sleep. And it helped! I was just exhausted and needed rest. We spent the rest of the afternoon in bed watching movies which was really nice to just be lazy. I for sure need more days like that before baby comes and turns that all around! :o)
