UTI and Keytones

Urgh...
Although I have to be thankful that these are all minor issues but heck this pregnancy comes with all of side effects.
Yesterday was a booked day of lot of family activities but I couldn't do a thing, I had gotten a stomach bug and spent the day sleeping and feeling sorry for myself. I hadn't been able to eat a thing and hardly drunk as I was so wiped out I just slept.
Today was my 34 weeks appointment {34 weeks tomorrow to be precises yay!} which I had with a dr rather than the midwife. Unfortunately my dr is on holiday and her cover is a very 'mousey' and unsure little thing. Not bad but she looked completely terrified that I had chosen that week, the week she was covering, to go awol from the program. I don't care, I felt she done a better job anyway and was able to answer all of the questions unlike the midwife.
I explained I had been unwell the day before and she confirmed that there was a high level of keytones in my sample and that I needed to up the water ASAP and force myself to eat as it was unclear which one was the big issue seeing as dehydration can cause a false keytone test. I don't feel nauseous anymore but I have no appetite so I'm eating what I fancy, mostly croissants. I knew I was dehydrated as soon as I peed in the little cup, its never been that dark, but I was just so drained I wasn't awake enough yesterday to get it into me, honestly people were talking to me and I would just fall back to sleep.
She also said I had an UTI, I thought I would have noticed but apparently it can be hard to recognise when pregnant although it was most likely connected to the bad stomach and dehydration, she did explain how that worked but I can't remember but either way she has me on antibiotics to cover the bases and has also sent off my sample to be double checked.
I don't like the idea of being on antibiotics at this stage in pregnancy but I refuse to google it, hey if you have the same experience I'd love to hear your side of things x
Told my sister about my appointment and she freaked out as she had keytones before labour which turned out the be a sign she had strep b, they didn't test and luckily it wasn't passed onto her son. Thanks for scaring the crud outta me lil sis
Everything else looks good though which is great, I've been told that if I have the slightest hint of feeling the anemia creep in again I am to up the does again.
I did ask out of curiosity about the estimated weight of baby but as I expected she confirmed that no scan or measurement could tell me babies weight and could easily be out by 2 to 3lbs. Guess I'm just going to have to wait till the big day to find out what size baby grow to take with me lol.
The scan prediction suggests 7-8lb but the growth chart which so far only has one plot on it recons I'll have a 10lber HA!

Now I'm going to sit back, relax with my lucozade, water and croissants.

Thank you both. Yeah I've never had a UTI before as far as I can remember. Hopefully the water and antibiotics will clear it up. Might grab some cranberry tomorrow once I've rehydrated.
getting a little fidgety from taking it easy as the house is a mess, boys *hubby and son* should not be left unattended.

Hope you feel better. I have had an uti before with no symptoms, the only thing I had realized was that my urine was slightly cloudy and darker which they attributed to dehydration. I knew something could be off, even though they screened me and said I didnt have a uti they sent it off for an culture and it ended up being one. I would just say continue with the water and I personally drink cranberry juice not from concentrate once a week. I havent had a uti in over 2 years now after implementing this. This neat they can give you her estimated weight, that wouldve probably saved me from all of the growth scans and worried about having a big boy.
