Hormones anyone?
Okay so I'm not turning green and running amok in something skimpy but I am surprised hubby hasn't jumped out of the nearest window and not stopped running till he reached a remote outpost in Greenland.
I am also very thankful that he hasn't because normally only moments after I bite his head off for not putting the used tea bag in the bin I'll cry because I feel bad for being moody.
He does give the best hugs though.
The other day he did ask if I had forgotten to take my 'anti snappy pills' and he was bloody lucky I didn't bash him with the frying pan I was holding.
Thin ice, Hubby, Thin Ice! Instead he got my best angry face, a growl and various mutterings as I waddled away.
Yes waddled...
It seems my other pregnancy symptoms have knocked it up a notch after almost subsiding completely, I'm bloated to about 6 months pregnant with a troublesome backache and no valid reason to buy maternity trousers yet.
The frequent urination is in Ninja Mode lulling me into the false sense of security to venture away from the nearest loo until suddenly -
ARRGGGHHHINEEDTOPEEBEFOREIWETMYSELFQUICKWADDLE!
On the good side of that I only got up three times last night to use the bathroom after making sure my fluid intake is done before 5pm.
Now just to get the 2 year old to stay in his bed between times and I might actually get some sleep.
Thankfully hubby was up and about helping me out, he is trying so hard and I'm so mean to him at the moment but seriously the bin was less than a step away so why is the soggy ass tea bag on my nice clean worktop I just washed down because someone couldn't wipe up his toast crumbs?????!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the worst of these lovely symptoms is my baby brain or just lack of any brain. I'm replacing words with weird words like informing my mother I'm not going to make a pie as I had run out of badgers.
I meant onions.
Or when the nursery asked what year the two year old was born I went completely blank and had to count backwards from 2014, out loud, on my fingers.
Or the fact I'm still not sure why I took the saucepan into the bedroom...

Probably to bludgeon the hubby... Poor guy.

I would love to feel relieved that this wild ride of early pregnancy is a sign that all is well, yet for anyone who has had a missed miscarriage they will understand that symptoms sometimes mean jack all.
I just want to get the scan at 8 weeks and know that everything is alright so I'm counting down the days until then.
Please be a bean, a happy bean.

Other symptoms related to my pregnancy are not actually coming from me. Hubby is being over protective and ever so attentive despite the threats on his life. Telling me to take it easy all the time and not to get up off the sofa.
Mother is starting the supposedly well intentioned lecturing on the trials of having more than one child and the 'things were different in my day' speeches which I am sure the last one had her squatting behind a bush to birth me while she continued to plow a field, in the snow, wearing a potato sack. The story was close to the truth, I was almost born down the veg aisle of sainsuburys.
She's never forgiven me for showing her up in public that day, hehehehehe!
Mother-in-law uuuurrgggghhh... I love her but shes getting far too excited over the possible second grand child.
She means well but she was already trying to feed my bloated stomach a veggie burger at the BBQ on Sunday and rubbing it like a genie might pop out and grant her wishes which would include having at least 27 grandchildren from me. I wouldn't mind but we have only told the parents so far so I was getting 'looks' from others at the friend filled event.
I just topped up her glass with wine and pointed her in the direction of my two year old to keep her busy for a few hours miming the phrase 'she's drunk' at the onlookers.

Oh little bean you are heading for a big o'l heap a crazy coming into this family.

Thank you and I'm so glad I'm not the only one brandishing cookware. It was just bad timing that his holiday from work coincided with my hormones going a little crazy, he's safely back at work now bless him.

I'm with Amanda, your entries are pretty entertaining. You totally explained how I feel about my husband when he's ADHD on me. Some days I think I'd like to try to beat the ADHD out of him. Poor hubby, tell him he only has like 8 more months of moodiness ;)

He he Thank you I'm glad you enjoy them. He's bringing home bubble bath today so naturally I'm suspicious already.
He'll last about another month I reckon before he buys his snow shoes.
