Boo-Bean has a heartbeat!

I felt so relieved by the whole experience at the hospital that I'm rather glad to be throwing up again.
We have two hospitals in our area and one of them is HORRIBLE! The main reason I had for his was when my mum was sick we walked down the main corridor to see her and finger painted in wet red blood on the wall was a swear word... nice. She was in there for a week and it was still there when we came to take her back home even though my dad pointed it out to several of the staff on the ward at the end of the corridor.
My mind was made up that if they can't clean what was obvious then what is going unseen?
I went there for my early scan last year when I had bled because I didn't get a choice then, this time I did and the whole experience was so different.
My appointment was on time rather then 2 hours late, they had no forms they required from me because they had gotten it ready before I arrived. I went straight in and they did everything to make me comfortable and relaxed (I was sobbing a little at this point). I told them to leave the screen on as I wanted to see not matter what the result. I didn't need her to point anything out. It was all there. Head, Butt, Paddley Arms and a flickering heart beat. So clear I had already cried when I saw it (hell I'm crying now).
They said baby measured 7+2, I'm 7+4, but they assured me this is very normal as its always out by about 5 this early on.
This made me wonder as in my last scan they asked me if my dates were right, I said "no, not really" I meant that as the dr was using the 'everyone has a 28 day cycle' method so she would have been two days out but I never said those words. If that were the case I must have been measuring a lot smaller then the -5 days they allow for for the sonographer to question it and I'm sure now that because of this mis communication I think my last issues were missed.
You could hardly see a heart then let alone the shape of a baby, asking me about my dates were the only things she said to us in the 2 minute scan and the Dr/Consultant saw us an hour later and said it all looked good we can go.
This time the sonographer and her assistant AND the consulting dr were in there having a good old look at my innards with the wand. I felt like a playstation remote.
They showed me my ovaries and the other parts of my anatomy I can't name again and then in goes the spy hole thingy and they all got down there with a torch, no lie! I was thoroughly searched and came away very happy that everything is fine. They even called it 'bean'.
Yay! Finally good news I wish I had a picture but the image is still strong in my mind for now x
