Can't. Stop. Eating. OMNOMNOMMANOM!

We announced our pregnancy to the wider family and friends on Facebook, it was great to finally be able to tell people as they were beginning to think I had dropped off the face of the earth when I was housebound with morning sickness again.
We put up the picture you see here of our son and the scan picture with the caption 'player two joining the game - 02-01-15' a reference to our younger years spent playing video games together to which Gary always won and I would just get moody and say he cheated.
Everyone was happy for us especially after he had come out before our last loss so everyone knew my heart ache, they all agreed that the saying 'new house, new baby' was right in our case hehehe.

The new house is lovely, so much our home already its like we have always been here although I'm still getting used to having 7 floors, yes that's right, one for each room with 6 sets of stairs. I was in the dining room at the bottom of the house when hubby phoned and asked me to turn his computer on, in the office at the very top of the house, I could have cried. Needless to say we both end up crawling to the bedroom from the step aerobics day in day out but that does mean that we wont have to do much training for fell climbing and hiking (our favorite hobby) once baby comes.
New door bell was fitted at the weekend too, stupid thing has something like 20 tones, only one of which is actually a door bell sound and the rest are tunes. So for giggles we selected a random number and agreed that would be 'our sound'. Yeeeeeah that didn't last when it turned out to be over 30 seconds of 'My heart will go on'. I said I would refuse to open the door until the tune finished so I didn't have to face the visitor so Its just plain bing bong now.

On an interesting note my first trimester screening report came back yesterday and everything is fine, no increased risks for Downs (Tr21 I know a lot of ladies opt not to have this because they will love their child no matter what but I have opted for it so that this time can be spent preparing for a baby that may need a little more of a parental learning curve than the average baby) but the interesting thing was we came across Hunters (our two year old) while we were unpacking. Both scans were done at 12 weeks 3 days and both babies measure exactly on date, fun but not the interesting bit.
It was the Beta hCG levels, now I can't find anything about this on the internet and it would seem the UK count it in a slightly different manner to the USA so its hard to actually understand how they are measured as all the info I can find is on MIU/mL. Let me reiterate I AM NOT CONCERNED AND NEITHER ARE THE HOSPITAL EVERYTHING IS NORMAL. I just thought it was interesting that the other test results were very similar except this one that is a HUGE difference but as I said, I haven't a clue what it means if it means anything at all. Mind you none of it makes too much sense until you get to the one line at the bottom that either says 'you ARE' or 'you ARE NOT'.
I asked my sister to check hers but she never kept any of them,
My son was 49.23 IU/l and this baby is 193.80 IU/l.

Okay enough of waffling about that...
I'm still slowly loosing weight but I am positive that is on the cusp of change as I just can't seem to stop eating! I finished my dinner last night and then waddled to tesco's to buy munch, hubby laughed because I came back with a bag filled with biscuits, sweets, cakes and chocolate pudding. I threw in some panty liners and a thank you card for our old neighbors because I din't want to look like a weirdo.
I only have one issue now though, I promised Hunter one of my chocolate puddings when I got back but he had gone to bed early and this morning he seems to have forgotten all about it. Does this mean I can eat it now???

Thank you all. I had seen one that announced player 3 as a couples first child but I thought this suited.
Hunter is starting to understand a little more that he'll have a brother or sister very soon.

Awesome announcement! I'm glad that the tests went well. It's also good that your appetite is on the mend. No one said you couldn't eat that pudding and get another one later so he doesn't notice...
