3D/4D Ultrasound

On Nov 17 we had a 3D/4D ultrasound of our baby girl. :) We had 15 people at the office sitting in a viewing room with popcorn waiting to see our baby lol. The tech took my husband and I back into the procedure room and got us started.
To start out with, she took a few pictures of Lyla's heart and then moved on to various pictures and measurements. Lyla is doing great and is absolutely beautiful!!! The biggest issues we had during the ultrasound were that her umbilical cord floated in front of her face a lot and whenever it moved, she would put her hands up instead! The tech said she looks healthy and is developing beautifully from what they can tell.
She is 16 1/2 inches long (head to toe) and weighs 3 lbs 14 oz. She is soooo big already! The ultrasound tech said that based on the measurements, Lyla looks to be about 5 days further along then we thought. That puts her due date at January 21 which is 10 days earlier than the first 2 ultrasounds put her at and only gives me (from today) 8 weeks and 5 days until I get to hold my baby! I can't believe how fast this is all going now that we're further along. I will be posting pictures from the ultrasound as soon as I get them on the computer. I do have one for now though so it will go on here :)
Thursday is Thanksgiving (followed by Christmas decorating!) and my baby shower is Sunday! Everything is going to be a combination of classic baby themed with a fairy theme thrown in. I'm so excited! Due to family members asking what I wanted/ needed for Lyla, I know of at least 3 or 4 of the major gifts and I am so grateful to everyone for doing finding a way to make them happen. It's great to have family that is obviously as excited as we are about this baby. :)
I have a follow up doctor's appointment on Wednesday to get the results of the glucose test and make the final decision on if I can do a water birth. He also wants to go over some basics since she's due so soon. I'll update on here when I get the results and I'll update again after the baby shower :)
