I've been stuffed up everyday, especially at bedtime. The last few days I've been coughing up green phlegm in the morning. Last night I kept waking up to cough and spit out junk from my throat. Eventually my throat was achy and swollen. I drank lots, but it only soothed a bit. Took some Tylenol around 4am. Got a bit of relief. Work problems abounded today. I tried to fix everything I came up against. It took its toll. By 6:30 my feet ached, my body was beyond sore, tired and shaky. I also noticed a fever had onset. I left without explaining my symptoms to my boss, but had anyone looked at my red glassy eyes, they would have known something was wrong. I managed to get to my car and slowly, deliberately drive to daycare to pick up my son. I took my temp at home. 101.18 degrees Fahrenheit on my bbt thermometer, which I trust. Called L&D and spoke to the midwife on call. (Temps over 100.4 are concern enough to call according to my info card they gave me earlier) I was told to take Tylenol every 4 hours, sleep, drink lots, and go to urgent care tomorrow if fever hasn't broken by the morning. Emma's still moving. No contractions in particular. I just feel horrible all over, especially in my throat. Typical cold/sinus infection. DH is out. Not answering his phone. I set Cam up with a movie. Now I just have to wait. Don't want to alarm any family right now. L&D knows. Cannot do much else to help. Sucks, but at least I'm lying down, which relieves some pressure on my legs. Cam probably wants food soon. It's good thing he was already offered dinner at daycare. Hopefully he'll accept the bare minimum mom effort tonight and go to bed without fighting. FX!

Get better soon! That sounds miserable. Hope your son was tired!

:( Hope you start feeling better soon! That doesn't sound like a fun way to spend the holiday weekend.
