Wait, what? DOUBLE TROUBLE?
By zeezailani » Posted Jan. 26, 2015 6:16am - 390 views - 5 comments
It came as a surprise. We both have been trying for years and were almost on the brink of giving up, when I realised sometime last month that my body's gone all funny.
Completely exhausted, slight nausea, but most importantly, I've missed my period. Tell-tale signs.
So when I had myself tested, it came as a completely huge shocker. We both weren't expecting it to happen. But the two lines don't lie. Especially when it came in boxes of 3.
Than came the doubts. We're currently abit rough on the financial status, topping it off with my recent unemployment. Discussions about abortion lingers, and we toyed around it. So we decided to wait a little longer, at least after the first ultrasound scan.
The doctor placed the scanner on my tummy. Shifted it around. Nothing. She couldn't see anything. Did i miscarried? I started worrying.
She ordered an internal vaginal scan. A long funny looking 'mini-dildo' went probing inside. Ouch, was my first reaction. And than finally that long awaited little black hole came into view. I heaved a sigh of relief thinking, oh, there it is! My tiny little baby was just hiding! But she went ahead and probed a little further to the left, than another black hole appeared.
"Any history of twins?" she questioned me with a smile.
And all doubts completely erased. My babies. :)
