So tomorrow is the big day

Tomorrow is stitch day and also marks the one year anniversary of my baby Royale's early arrival. Tomorrow will definitely be bittersweet for my husband and I but we will definitely be celebrating both lives. Even though Royale never got a chance to make it to today, we still appreciated the 13 weeks we knew she was in there, simply for the joy and hope that she gave us once again. She will always be missed. Not to say my other 2 aren't missed, but this is will be one year since we lost her and I wanted to express how special she was to us even with never making it a day on earth. So even though it will be a sad day, it will be also be a joyous day because we get to have the opportunity to keep this baby protected and "locked-in". I don't care how much people say it's not a guarantee; as long as me, my hubby and my doctor are optimistic then that's all I need. I'm taking whatever route possible.
Speaking of which, I have to get a spinal. I am not happy, at all, about that because of the risks that spinals pose and the issues that many women have had after them, BUT after hearing the risks of NOT getting it with this procedure I'm sure the spinal will be my best option. As a good friend has said, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to protect this baby, regardless of my fears, so I'm putting my selfish fears to the side and I'm doing what needs to be done. I'm going to be praying heavily that everything goes well with this spinal ....and that's all I'll say about that.
In better news, at my pre-op 2 days ago my doctor wanted to see if we could hear the baby's heartbeat on a doppler, since again we are staying as far away from transvag u/s as much as possible, and immediately we heard the heartbeat, 162!! At first I thought it was kinda low but my doctor assured me that at 10 weeks that's perfect because it starts to slow down after 9 weeks anyway. I'm just happy it took a millisecond to find it. And I'm no skinny-mini so that was awesome for me. I'm thinking about pulling my old doppler out that I bought with my last pregnancy but I've been treading really lightly with using it because there's still no proof that it doesn't harm the baby, so I'm not going to use everyday that's for sure. But I'm sure the first couple of days after the surgery I plan on using it just to make sure everything's okay in there. But after that I'm determined to leave the rest of this pregnancy in the hand of GOD, so maybe once in a while but not nearly as much as I did the last pregnancy.
Well that's it, blessings to you my unborn beauty and I can't wait until we meet in June. Mommy and Daddy loves you
