Can't shake the anxiety!

I am still so nervous something is going to go wrong this pregnancy. So far I've been so blessed and everything has been going great. I am just so nervous though that they have scheduled my C-section later then they should've. Being high risk and having the hypertension, I keep reading that they normally do not go past 38 weeks. My C-section is scheduled for Feb 8th which brings me to 39+3 days. He only does his scheduled C-sections on Monday mornings so that's why it's that day. To me though it's really pushing it. 4 days shy of 40 weeks I think my odds of going into natural labor is pretty high and that's what they really want to avoid because of my blood pressure. I know they are monitoring me every week starting on the 24th so obviously if they start to notice distress or pre e kicking in, they will take her right away but it still doesn't make me feel better. With my 1st daughter, I never went into labor. They induced me at 36 weeks because of pre e and then just did a c section. This time I'm so nervous because I don't know the signs of labor and naturally going into it. I plan to mention to my high risk Dr on the 18th my C-section date is scheduled for 39+3 days but it's so stressful on me that I am in the middle of the 2 Dr's. I am the one that has to go back and fourth telling each one what the other is doing. Ugh! I just pray for a healthy baby in the end of all this.

I know it's hard not to worry but I'm sure you are in good hands and like you said, if they think there is any risk to baby, they'll take her ASAP. In my experience, I feel like doctors are overly cautious when it comes to delivering a healthy baby (as they should be!).
