Anatomy scan didn't go as expected.

I had my anatomy scan yesterday at 19 weeks. Found out I will be having another boy which I thought I would be sad but I totally am not. We did find out that he has a choroid plexus cyst on the right side of his brain. I know it can be common and will most likely go away before birth but I still can't help but to worry about my baby boy. I don't see my Dr until next monday to discuss the results. Ultrasound tech said I will probably get a few more ultrasounds and extra blood work to check on the baby. So anxious about it since I've never experienced this before. This little boy is so precious and I tear up just thinking about him and hoping he will be just fine. I can't wait to meet him. We are naming him Colton Uriah.

I haven't seen my Dr. yet since the ultrasound. I know they usually will do another ultrasound around 24 weeks to see if it has gone away. Hopefully it will be gone by then. It's always hard not to worry when it's something new to you. Colton is a great name :)

Congratulations on your little boy, I've heard that alot of those cysts resolve throughout the pregnancy.

Congrats on the boy! I pray that everything goes well at your next appointment! We are naming our little boy Colton as well (Colton Thomas).
