Christmas was up and down for me.
Had a really good time with the family and relaxing while being off work. Got to see all of my nearby family, and some of my friends that live out of state. It was really good to catch up with everyone in person. Christmas went as smoothly as possible. As always there was a lot of tension at my in-laws house between my two sister in laws, but everyone kept it pretty civil the whole time. Christmas at my families went well, although my grandparents seem to be more and more confused. It was just a great time to relax and not worry about work.
The down part is that we finally got a diagnosis on on 5 year old Siberian Husky. He had been coughing since he was around a year old and they have never been able to figure out a cause. We now have a cause, diffuse bronciocstasis (SP), but it is not curable. I think we are looking at a prognosis of somewhere between 1-3 years left for him. He will always cough and hack up stuff for the rest of his life. The only thing we can do is put him on antibiotics for a week every month to keep infection away. Not really what we were looking for. Right now he is still a happy dog, but we will have some decisions to make in the next year or so. :(
I am really excited for my second ultrasound tomorrow. Hopefully they will get the view of all 4 chambers of the heart and a profile view of the face. Those were what they could not see last time. I am now starting to feel some kicks and they seem to be getting stronger. Now i just want my husband to be able to feel them.
Sleep is getting harder for me. I am waking up a lot more to pee in the middle of the night, and i really hate sleeping on my side. I ordered a pregnancy pillow over the holidays and that should arrive this week. Hopefully it helps.

Here is to having good results at my ultrasound tomorrow.

Sorry about your dog :( It;s always tough dealing with a pet who is ill or has other issues. We had to put down DH's dog while the twins and I were in the hospital. It wasn't an easy decision to make but it was the best for him and his illness. I hope he remains as happy as can be for as long as possible. Good luck on your ultrasound!!!!
