My husband and i attended our first childbirth class this past weekend. I don't think he was too thrilled about it, but i think we both took away some good information. It made me want to try a natural birth even more, just because of all the medical problems i already have.
As i said in a previous post, i am so happy with the nursery furniture. I will be having fun organizing all the items we have and will be getting into the drawers, and decorating the room. I wanted to see where the furniture would go before i hung anything on the walls.
Looking forward to my next appointment. Hoping the doctor can tell me the positioning of this little boy, and perhaps why he favors kicking my one side over the other.

I felt our childbirth classes were a lot of "fluff" and information I could get tooling around on Google for a couple hours. HOWEVER, the information about all the different options for pain management was amazing. Our instructor was a former nurse from the hospital where I delivered so she had a lot of information. Also, the different exercises for breathing and what not helped, especially when she made us hold huge ice cubes in our bare hands without using the breathing techniques and then again using the techniques.

LOVE your nursery. Dark woods are my favorite and I'm trying to decide on buying a new crib for my little one, or buy a "big girl bed" for DD and move the crib into the other room.

Lol! For the longest time, I felt all my movement really low and on the right. Now I can feel her stretching in my tummy, but still mostly feel everything on the right hand side! It's definitely getting much stronger though :)

StephC, I was told i had an anterior placenta as well, so I was wondering also if that is why i don't feel much on a certain side in the front. Or perhaps i just have a nice big target in that one place that he is aiming for.

I really love your nursery furniture! :) It's interesting to see you say that your baby boy favors kicking you on one side, because my baby girl does the same thing! I feel most kicks on my right side. I do feel an occasional "bump" on my left side, but not as often. I wonder if this is what the ultrasound tech at my 24 week scan meant when she told me my placenta was "kind of" in front? Have fun decorating and organizing the nursery!! :)
