Tobias is growing well and thriving. Had his one month follow up last week and is now 8lb 10oz. He is having a bit of a problem with gas and pooping, so we are trying a couple things for that. We are trying anti gas drops first. Then see if we need to change formula.
I have stopped pumping. The supply in the freezer lasted until he was a month and now he is entirely on formula. I needed to stop. Pumping for my sanity. It was making me overly emotional to not be able to do anything during that time and the extra lack of sleep between feeding him from a bottle and pumping.
Went to a wedding last weekend and he did really well. No fussing or crying through the whole thing. We didn't stay long at the reception though.
Can't wait foe him to sleep better at night and for this stomach problem to be over. The last couple of nights have been rough since he is only sleeping in 1 hour stretches before waking himself up crying trying to poop or fart. He starts daycare after the 4th which gives me a week before I have to go back to work.
I am looking forward to going back to work and dreading it at the same time. I love spending time with him and feel like i will miss a lot.

I hope that the sensitive formula helps him! When we're out and about, I usually give Madelyn the sensitive formula as well and she does okay with it. I do add a little bit of gas drops into the bottle before I give it to her though! Hopefully you get more of the 4 hour sleep stretches :) do you swaddle him? Madelyn sleeps so much better when she's swaddled. My first born hated to be swaddled, though. And she always woke up every 3 hours or so for MONTHS, lol.

I am hoping switching to the sensitive formula helps. We started today and he does seem less fussy tonight. We shall see as the day goes by. But he slept for 4 hours straight. Last night it was only about 45 minutes. Hopefully that is all it takes. Sorry you are having trouble too. I hope the new meds continue to help.

Sorry to hear he's having trouble with gas and pooping. We're in the same boat! Madelyn has reflux, which started as constantly spitting up after every nursing session, sometimes in the middle of each nursing session, which her Dr. said may be caused by gas because her belly was distended. We tried gas drops and a probiotic, and they helped her pass gas more easily, but she was still spitting up. We tried Zantac which helped at first, but stopped working after a few days. We recently switched to prevacid which is helping so much with the reflux! But now she hasn't pooped in a few days and seems so uncomfortable at night with gas and cries off and on for a few hours. I'm almost wondering if it may be colic. She doesn't do it every night, but it's still frustrating when nothing seems to help! I can't win, it seems! Hopefully you find something to work for him, I get how hard it is when they're crying because they're hurting! Hope your transition to work goes smoothly!
