Where has the time gone. The past 6 months have seemed to fly by.
Tobias has grown so much. He is now 17 lbs 12 oz and 26.5 inches. He loves to eat, we have been introducing all sorts of different fruits and veggies this past month, and now have the go ahead for meat and things like puffs. The thought of pureed meet scares me though.
He got his first tooth this past month. It hasn't been as bad as i was expecting. A bit fussy and tons of drool, but not too bad.
We also did our first real vacation as a family of 3. We drove 9 hours to DC and spent the week at a friends there and explored the city. He had a lot of firsts that week, first time to the zoo, first metro ride, first tooth. He also perfected his rolling skills while we were there and is now quite good at rolling both directions.
I think crawling will be coming soon, he is trying so hard. The dogs have also taken more of an interest in him now, which is a good and bad thing. We have to be much more alert when the dogs are around, our male will lick him forever if we let him, and our female wants to play with him.
Still waiting on my husband to start doing better with him. He has been doing great in short doses, but when i went to a play last month, he got a bit overwhelmed. Here is to hoping this continues to improve.
Can't wait to see what the next months bring.

Comment from stephc2010 » Posted Nov. 11, 2016 6:44am Aww! Glad he likes solids now :) Maddie did so good at first and recently started refusing solids... Seems like everything is going good for you! I'm only about an hour away from DC and we had our first trip on the Metro and the zoo for both girls this summer! | |
