I am too ashamed to get on the scales becuase I already know what they are going to tell me - woman stop eating!!! I don't understand why I am soo hungry all the time. I don't remember being this bad with my daughter. I've gone from having only a coffee for breakfast a salad for lunch and small dinner, to fruit and toast for breakfast a snack at morning tea, salad for lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, before bed snack .... and... I still wake up hungry :(. I don't know what to do. I try to eat healthy snacks but when I eat fruit or veggies, i'm hungry an hour later. Araghghgggghhhh. At this rate, i'm going to be the size of a bus at third trimester.

How did you ladies deal with the hunger and not put on too much weight?

Try putting peanut butter with your apple or maybe hummus with you veggies. Those healthy fats can hold you over till your next meal. I know I have to do it, and I'm not pregnant. :) One of my favorites, is grape tomatoes, with Feta, basil, and some balsamic vinegar and avocado oil. YUM!! No feta for you though, maybe something else. Try the peanut butter and the hummus, it really helps tie you over.

I had the same thing going on around 8 weeks. What helped me was to make sure to eat protein early in the day... eggs, peanut butter, cheese. It seemed to give me a baseline to work from so I wasn't always playing catchup with snacks.

I had the same feeling at that time... it will pass - it is all hormonal at this point and in few weeks you will go back to normal. Just snack on those healthy fruits and veggies and you will be fine.
