I cried when I found out!

Let's just say the 3 hr glucola test is torture. But I got through it. I was nervous ALL weekend... until my Drs assistant called me and told me I had passed with flying colors. Now when I got the phone call from her something told me I had failed.. I figured as much because she would need to call me and tell me the next steps. Usually it just goes in on our online chart. So when she said I passed all 4 with flying colors..i told her thank you for making my day. When I got off the phone I cried in relief. Now the back story is both my parents had diabetes and my mother got gestational diabetes with me and never got rid of it. They both died from the hectic conditions it caused in both of their body's
Diabetes destroyed their hearts and for my mom it attacked her kidneys. They both passed away in the last year. My mom in late June my dad in July of 2017. The last thing I want is to walk down the same path my parents did.

I wasn't told to eat any different than I usually do. Good luck!

Wow. I'm so sorry for your recent losses. I'm also very happy for you for passing the test. I'm prepping for it now and I'm miserable. I take it tomorrow and the no caffeine and lots of carb loading thing all weekend has given me a two day migraine - going on three days. I'm so afraid I'm gonna fail it too.
