So I failed my 3 Hr test. 100 was fasting. 201 was my 1st Hr and then the next two hrs i passed. I've been sticking myself for the last week. Yes, even through Christmas. My highest number I've ever had was 119 and my lowest 57. My avg fasting is in the low 80s sometimes high 70s and most times I take my 2 hr BS it is high 90s. I've had it over 100 three times. So all I can say is I'm obviously handing this well. They do not want my numbers higher than 130 2 hrs after eating. So far so good. I write down everything I eat and every result after I take my B.S. which is 4 times a day. I never get use to pricking myself but I will do anything to not go on insulin. I've lost 4 pounds since changing my diet around. Basically low carb. However, 2 times my sugar was way too low. I've read to not let your sugar get below 80 because you start getting in the danger zone for low B.S which I have history of even before this. I'm insulin resistant by nature. Ive only got till mid March. I can do this for myself and most of all for baby.
