Dilating has started

Had a growth ultrasound today. Baby is 6 1/2 pounds. So has gained 2 pounds since the 31st. He is measuring 37 weeks and 5 days even though I'm just turning 36 weeks tomorrow. I'm dilated to 2CM. That has happened in 9 days. Ugh I'm in so much pain down stairs..and hemorrhoids are killing me. :( Dr said if I haven't gone into labor by 39 weeks she will induce me since I'm going for a VBAC. She doesn't want me to have a 9 pound kid! I hope he arrives sometime in my 38th week. Sooner rather than later.
