Heart beat!

Last night, the hubs and i decided to break out the home doppler and see if we could hear anything. With my last baby, we didn't find it until 9 weeks exactly, and i was only 7 weeks, 5 days last night so we kind of expecting not to hear anything yet. I prodded around for quite a while and after about 30 minutes of searching, we heard it! Like a little horse galloping away in my stomach. lol I was surprised to actually hear it! It was a strong 145 bpm. It makes me feel really reassured and helps me connect with this pregnancy. Because of our prior losses, i was having a hard time thinking of this as a "real" pregnancy. Silly maybe, because we have been wanting this so bad, but it was still feeling very unreal, like it wasn't really happening. I would go all day sometimes not even thinking about being pregnant and then i would go to get a beer out of the fridge and remember, "oh yeah, i can't do that". Duh...
So now we heard it, it's real, and i feel pregnant finally. Lol
