Weird dreams...

During my nap today, i had a dream that i gave birth to a puppy instead of a baby. I was in labor in the hospital and i was all prepared to push for hours like every other time. The dr said "push" do i did, and out popped a puppy. I was shocked, to say the least, and i asked the dr what happened. He says, "you had a puppy". So of course, i ask "why did i just have a puppy and not a baby", and he says, "i don't know, but you're going to need a vet, not a doctor" and he leaves. For some reason, DH was not there for the blessed event, so while i waited for him, i wrapped up the puppy in a blanket and paced around with him, trying to decide how i was going to explain to everyone that i had a puppy, not a baby. I started getting very upset that it wasn't a baby, and really upset that none of the new baby clothes i just got at my shower were going to fit a puppy. Then i woke up.
I'm convinced that i'm officially going insane....

Comment from PrettyBee » Posted Nov. 21, 2013 8:04am I literally just laughed out loud! You are certainly not the only one. I'm early in my pregnancy and it's already started. I am CRACKING UP at "So of course, I ask "why did I just have a puppy and not a baby", and he says, "I don't know, but you're going to need a vet, not a doctor" and he leaves."
Comment from KenpoMommy » Posted Nov. 20, 2013 2:21am Leslie, i had a similar dream when i was pregnant with my first baby. I dreamed i gave birth to my cat and i got really upset when she wouldn't let me put a diaper on her. I was crying and saying what a horrible mother i was because i couldn't even put a diaper on my baby. Somehow, even though i could see she was a cat, i just wasn't computing that way, and i was convinced she was a baby. She was reacting the way a cat would if you tried to diaper it and i was very upset! At the time it was a really upsetting dream. Now, it just seems funny. lol
Comment from LeslieAM » Posted Nov. 19, 2013 9:58pm I had this dream too except it was a cat! A few weeks later I dreamed my baby came out as a toddler and I was extremely upset I missed his infant time. So you are not in the crazy train by yourself lol

Comment from MeeWeee » Posted Nov. 19, 2013 4:48pm Well, the old wives tales say whatever you dream of having, it will be the opposite! So I THINK you're safe - haha! This had me giggling :D
