My "baby's" 15th Birthday.

Well, i'm 35 weeks today. It also happens to be my oldest son's 15th birthday too. Way back when he was born, i never thought i would still be having more babies when he was a teenager. My plan was to have one or two more after him, not more than 6-7 years apart total, and be done by the time i was 30. Yet, here i am, 39 and pregnant with #3. That's what i get for making plans i guess. Lol By the time this new baby is born, i'll have a 15 year old, a 3 year old, and a newborn. It's a good thing he's such a big help to me! He does everything for his brother that i do for him, feeding, changing, putting to bed, etc. I have no doubt that he could watch him for several days if i needed him to. (not that i would ever ask that of a 15 year old) I just feel so proud of him and his ability to step in when i need his help. You don't always get that out of teenagers when it comes to baby care, especially boys, but he is great! In a few short years, i'll only have my little guys at home and my first baby will be out on his own. Makes me sad a little...

Comment from KenpoMommy » Posted Dec. 19, 2013 8:16pm Thank you ladies! And Jennavee, yes, i'm very glad things didn't work out the way i originally planned. I met the love of my life only 4.5 years ago and we are on baby #3 already! lol I can't imagine what my life would have been like if i had had more babies with my oldest son's father. A nightmare, probably, to say the least. My husband is the best father and husband EVER and im glad im having the rest of my babies with him!
Comment from jennavee » Posted Dec. 19, 2013 7:41pm He sounds like a great teenager!!! What a blessing!! I'm sure you are the proudest mama! Isn't it great that our plans rarely work out? Life usually has a special plan for us, and sometimes it seems better as a surprise! :-) Happy birthday to your first baby!
