Tomorrow is the day !

So here in Germany you get a ultrasound every visit . Also it's not uncommon for the ob (ob's do all the ultrasounds here no technicians ) to give you 80% chance guess on the sex by 13-14 weeks . Well that appt for me is tomorrow ! My ob is going to take a look between the legs as long as this baby cooperates and give me his professional guess . Like I said it's 80% so no I won't be going out and buying everything pink or blue nor will we announce it till it is indeed reconfirmed at my next appt at 18 weeks . But just to have an idea is cool. I've heard many experiences that my ob has a pretty awesome track record with giving the sex of the baby early on like this so ... We shall see . Or maybe it will just be so obvious there won't be any second guessing ?! Who knows ! Either way I'm anxious for tomorrow ! I'm sure I won't sleep well and I'm sure my dreams will be reeling all night !
I will say , I thought this was a girl since even before conception but now ... I have only baby boy dreams ! Sometimes multiple baby boy dreams a night so .. It's a toss up for me ! And it's about 50/50 on what others are guessing as well. We will see what tomorrow brings .
Oh also in Germany they don't give you a photo of the "potty shot" so I was thinking of recording it for family on my phone . I'm just still nervous about "what it's" I just pray she/he is healthy !

Here obs don't even HAVE ultrasound machines in their office... the first ultrasound you get if all seems to be going well is the nuchal scan at 12 weeks, and that's if you elect to have it! If you don't, you get your first scan at 18 weeks! |
