I wonder when things will slow down for once!

I'd just love to have a day, or even a few hours where I could just sit and relax, here lately that isn't the case at all! Karter (15m old son) is now cutting his two top eye teeth, and was up half of the night. At 6:30 this morning, he was ready to start his day...don't understand how babies can do that lol! The first half of the night that he actually slept, I wasn't sleeping. I find already, that it's hard to get comfortable, and I'm only 14-3.
One of my daycare children has been absolutely terrible, on top of Karter being completely off and stuck to me 24/7. He won't play with anyone, he just wants to be mean all of the time!
On top of that, my SO thinks it's hilarious to make messes and never clean up behind himself. His mother completely babied him, therefore he was never made to do anything. I'm still super tired, so I'm in bed every night by 9:00pm. He stayed up later than I did last night, and was gone for work this morning before I got up. He'd apparently gotten hungry last night- there was dirty dishes all around the couch, he'd apparently gotten dressed in the living room as well, because his pjs were on the floor. He'd gone into the kitchen and opened up the pantry to get things out for his lunch and left it wide open (remember, we have a 15m old that gets into absolutely everything, therefore there is a cupboard lock on it at all times- but he just left it open). The house was an absolute disaster, and I had parents coming in to drop their kids off within half an hour. Needless to say, it was a scramble to get the house looking decent, as well as get Kay off to school this morning. I wish for just once, that he'd realize what a slob he is and help around here for once!!
He does work 12 hr shifts, 3 days on, 3 days off. Here lately, his days off- he thinks that he should just be able to sit around on the couch and do absolutely nothing. We're in the process of moving our daughter into what was our playroom to make room for a nursery. He threw an absolute fit yesterday when he had to go and move the furniture from one room to the next- was I supposed to do that too?? Everything else, our daughter and I have moved.
I just wish that his mother had actually made him do something growing up- she's apologized before, saying that it was just easier to do everything for him instead of arguing with him to do things for himself. I'm sorry, but our children will NOT be brought up the same way. They have to have a sense of responsibility!! Ugh!

End rant for now!
