On January 29, 2013 at 36 weeks 3 days pregnant
Prental Tests: Group B Strep Test (GBS)
I was tested for Group B on January 21 and got my results back today. I tested positive but my doctor said it's normal and not to worry about it. She said they will just give me antibiotics when I'm in labor so they baby doesn't get it. The baby is still measuring on track, heart rate was 130-140's, and my doctor said if I got to fullterm that he should be an average size baby about 7 lbs or so.

Bunco Surprise Shower
My bunco girls surprised me and threw a baby themed night of rolling dice and showered baby Aiden with lots of great things!

Doctor's Appointment
I had my first internal exam today to check how far along I was. I am already 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. This baby could be coming anytime!

Surprise Baby Shower
My girlfriends threw me a surprise co-ed baby shower and my hubby and I had a blast! My little man is so spoiled already! :)

Baby Shower
I had my first baby shower at home with all my family and friends. It was so fun showering Baby Aiden with so much love! :)

Picked a Name
We had the name picked out since pretty much the beginning but we "officially" announced our Baby Bean's name on our Christmas cards. His name will be Aiden Daniel! :)

Started Childbirth Classes
We started childbirth classes tonight and they were quite interesting. Everyone says they aren't important but everyone always seems to take them anyway and they make me feel better regardless if they are "helpful" in the long run or not. Trying to practice the breathing techniques with my husband is next to impossible... I can't be serious and he always makes me laugh. :)

3D/4D Ultrasound
Baby Bean was measuring 2lbs 11oz, had a heartrate of 144 and was measuring right on target (is in the 50 percentile). The tech couldn't believe how strong he was and is convinced he's going to be a soccer player. He has my nose and my big cheeks. :)

Went on Babymoon

We went to St. Augustine for the Christmas festivites and had a blast!

Bought my Mommy mobile!
We bought my new Mommy mobile today! It's a 2013 Limited Highlander! I'm so excited to get our little man in it! :)

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
Went for my hour glucose test today and found out on Wednesday that I failed it and had to go back on Thursday (11/15) for the three hour test. The three hour test was pure torture but I found out on Friday (11/16) that I PASSED!!

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
I've been waiting to try and catch our little man kicking so my hubby could feel him. I finally discovered that if I sit indian style against our headboard in bed that he'll kick. It was a very special moment letting my hubby finally feel our little man kick!! :)

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
Finally went with my Mom to get some comfy maternity shirts. The pants department is another story!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family

We called our families as soon as we left the doctor's office. They were so excited!! :)

Found Out Baby's Gender

The anatomy scan went well and we found out we are having a very healthy baby BOY!! :)

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
This wasn't the first time I heard the heartbeat but it was the first time hearing it through the doppler. Baby bean's heartrate was 153 bpm.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I thought I felt baby bean but wasn't sure if it was just gas but now that I feel him moving more, I know that this was definitely him moving around in there!

Publicly Announced Pregancy

It's official... we put it up on Facebook! Our first official family photo. :)

Fourth Ultrasound

Since it was the day after my birthday, our families were still in town and my doctor was kind enough to allow me to get another quick ultrasound so they could catch a glimpse at our baby bean!

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We surprised our families on my 30th birthday with the news that we were 14 weeks pregnant! It was so fun and there were lots of tears of joy!

First Trimester Screening

We went for our NT scan and got to see and hear baby bean's heartbeat (159 bpm) and everything checked out wonderfully! We are measuring 12 weeks, 5 days.
