Baby Shower
Our Baseball themed shower was a huge success! Despite butting heads with my Mom I still had a great time and got a lot of really great gifts for our little boy!

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
Did my Glucose test but despite my telling two different nurses AND my Doctor when I needed my blood drawn, they still took it 15 mins late and the doctor wants me to test again this Friday. My first test came up clear but they want to be sure it was done correctly. Good thing I have to come back for my Rhogram shot anyway otherwise I'd be doubly annoyed.

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time

Bought Baby's First Outfit
I couldn't resist. I was in Macy's with no intention of buying baby clothes but when I happened to walk by the baby section I had to pick up a few outfits. Even though I know I'll get a ton of stuff at my baby shower I still wanted to be able to buy a few things myself. That's the best part right??

Picked a Name
Now that we know it's a boy we decided on Dylan Charles. Always knew it would be Dylan but had a tough time with the middle name. Charles is after my maternal grandfather Kalman who always went by Charles. We think it's a very strong and important sounding name!

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
Driving home from Jennifer's Bachelorette Party in Palm Springs. I was singing along with the radio and felt a poke in my belly! I don't think my baby likes my singing voice.

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
We were able to convince our doctor to tell us her thoughts at the 15 week scan. She said it's still a little early but as long as we didn't hold her to it she would let us know what she could see (if anything). Sure enough, there was a little something something sticking out from between the babies legs, so we just told a few close friends and our families what her "guess" was. We'll know for certain in 4 weeks when we go back for our 19 weeks Ultrasound!

Found Out Baby's Gender
Dr. Lee said she couldn't tell us for certain but her best guess at this early stage is "boy". We definitely saw something that looks like a scrotum. I had the maternal instinct from the very beginning that he was a boy so this was no surprise to me! Daddy always had a feeling we were having a boy too!

1st Trimester Screening
A very stressful, emotional roller coaster of a day! So glad to see you healthy and moving around in 3D!

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Haven't told the partners but told my colleague and our assistant. It's a huge relief!

First Prenatal Appointment
I was so nervous! Daddy wasn't! When we finally saw you it all felt so real! Dr. Lee said you were definitely looking 8 weeks along and you had a nice healthy heartbeat. Shocked to see an empty 2nd sac. I guess it's fairly common nowadays with early ultrasounds to have a disappearing twin. While a small part of me felt sad that it didn't come to fruition (being a twin myself) makes mes glad that we can just focus on you!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
It didnt feel real until we saw you on the screen and then even more so when we heard your heart beat beat beat! Nice and strong. You are doing so great! We love you so much already!

First Ultrasound
Until today you were just a positive sign on a stick! Now it feels a lot more real. You are perfectly sized for 8 weeks on the nose 1.63 cm. Your due date was confirmed for Sept 19th. Seeing was believing! I feel so relieved and so happy!

Announced Pregnancy to Family

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Tested at 6:30 am. Knew I was pregnant very early (about 3 DPO) but didn't want to "jinx it"by saying it before I tested. My hand was shaking as I was holding the test but Danny and I were overjoyed when we saw that strong positive!

Told Husband/Partner
He was with me when we tested. I definitely wanted him right by my side. He's been calling me Baby Mama all day!
