On August 15, 2013 at 8 weeks 1 day pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Our ultrasound today at 8w1d went well! Munchkin has a heartbeat of 167.38 bpm! I could hear it this time.. YAY!!!

On July 19, 2013 at 4 weeks 2 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
I was going to wait until I went down to Arizona on the 31st (July) to tell my siblings - BUT.. I felt like I should ask my mom and dad to pray for us, and then I asked my SIL about some things to eat that would work well for my needs... so today after hearing the beta quant was so good, and the tests are darkening - I went ahead and told the rest of my siblings and one of Jake's. We'll have to call his other 2 sisters and tell them before I can say anything on facebook.

On July 12, 2013 at 3 weeks 2 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I felt moody, bloated, had heartburn, and felt an urgency to needing to pee... so on a fluke I tested - it was positive! Hubby said, "really?" upon seeing the test. Here we go again! #10

On July 11, 2013 at 3 weeks 1 day pregnant
Told Husband/Partner
After several days of heartburn (unusual), and peeing more than normal along with more urgently, moodiness, and so on... I began to wonder, so I ran back to take a quick test... turns out it was faintly positive. After the last experience of making a big deal out of it and having it crash badly... I just pulled Jake into the kitchen and showed him the test.

His response? ... "REALLY?"
He was quite happy about it - as was I, but I think I was more apprehensive than happy, unsure what to think. After so many losses - who could blame me? Jake was trying really hard to be more happy about it all than during previous times when he had been the more apprehensive one.
