Told Our Children About the Pregnancy
I'd been talking to our youngest about it since I found out, trying to make it as easy as possible a transition for her. I told the older two today. I brought out the ultrasound pictures and tried to see if they could tell what it was. My youngest son was dead set that it was a picture of a sandstorm. (lol)

First Time Someone Noticed My Growing Tummy
This would be my 5 year old who noticed. He thought I was getting fat. lol

Announced Pregnancy to Friends
To announce the pregnancy to people who weren't immediate family I went and added on the family section of Facebook that I was expecting a baby due in March. I wasn't sure if others would pick up on that little update, but not even 2 minutes later my phone started going crazy with Facebook replies.

First Prenatal Appointment/Ultrasound
It went really well! The husband went with me and we got to see the baby playing and spinning inside me. The baby was so active that we couldn't get a single good clear printed ultrasound picture.On August 16, 2011 at 8 weeks 5 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
We decided to go ahead and tell family members, that way by the time we go to our first appointment next week we can make the announcement on Facebook to the rest of our family/friends.
My brothers are absolutely excited about the news.
My mom took the news really well. It was great not getting lectured about it for once. She broke the news to my sister and step-dad and said they both took the news well too, but that my sister is unsure how the boys will take the news when we tell them.

Told Husband/Partner
John's reaction "No." Simply that. After bugging me about having more, he apparently had changed his mind a few weeks before. He was pretty upset about it for a while, but is slowly coming around. He's reached the point where he's OK with joking about it.
