Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
This morning, the baby was moving a fair bit in my lower belly, and I grabbed Jason's hand and rested it there. It took a few minutes more, and then he kicked right under his daddy's hand. Jason said it felt like a muscle flexing in my belly.

Bought Baby's First Outfit
Grandma Lapsley and I picked out two cute onesies with the moon on them, a sweet sleeper with footies and little blue stars, and a set with an astronaut, a rocket ship, and a lunar lander. All for my starry baby!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
We called up Grandpa and Grandma Lapsley and told them we have a little boy. Grandpa Martinez was not surprised as he had predicted a boy during Thanksgiving.

Picked a Name
After we knew we were expecting a little boy, we compared our lists of boy's names that very evening. Most of the names were different, though we both liked Alexander. I suggested Sebastian and Jason liked the sound of that. To be fair, we went through a few rounds, crossing out names we both liked less than others. Sebastian was the clear winner over all. We kept it a secret for a month, calling the baby by name to each other. When we were sure that was the baby's name, we told our families. Uncle Jake started working on possible nicknames right away.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
At first I wasn't sure about what I was feeling. It felt like someone brushing against my belly from the inside!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Jason and I heard the heart beat at the NT ultrasound. It was brief but awesome!

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
I had a 2 hour Glucose Tolerance test. As of a week from then, I have not heard anything negative regarding the results.

Told Husband/Partner
After the first faint positive yesterday, I rushed into Jason's office to show him the irrefutable digital test that said "pregnant 1-2 weeks."
It was still early morning, and Jason had yesterday to start to get used to the idea. He started with "Yay..." then dragged it out, I think because he felt he should be excited. So it became, "Yaaaaaaaaayyyyaaayyyyy" in a somewhat monotone, almost sarcastic.
I laughed at him, and he said, "Sorry, it's early."

Announced Pregnancy to Family
I told my mom when she came over for a previously scheduled hang-out. I showed her the home pregnancy tests, and she squinted at them, trying to figure out what they said. They didn't have them back when she was pregnant with my brother and I.
She was very happy and hugged both me and and Jason. Later she texted that she had told my dad and he had to sit down. Dad called later in the evening to share his excitement.
