Announced Pregnancy to Family
Told our families on Thanksgiving!! We had it planned that we would take a group picture and instead of "say cheese" we would say "Shea's Pregnant!"....but my cousins husband offered to take the picture instead and just started snapping. Convinced DB to take one more and he snapped the picture while we said it, not after, so didn't catch the reaction. My mom thought it was a joke until we showed her the ultrasound pictures. Everyone is thrilled, and especially excited sincey cousin and I are only 9 weeks apart or so!!

First Prenatal Appointment
Fairly basic appointment, but happy that we have made it this far!! Haven't made it to a first OB appt yet, so this was amazing in itself! Baby is growing right on track and heartbeat is perfect. Hoping the rest of this pregnancy is so easy for the next 31 weeks!!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
Follow up from last Thursday - and baby GREW!!! Now measuring right on track for 7w3d and heartbeat at 127bpm. Feel like a weight has been lifted. Still just a little gummy bear but apparently growing like crazy!On November 14, 2013 at 6 weeks 6 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
First ultrasound scared me! Knowing the exact date I ovulated and the day of my first BFP - I knew how far I should be. I was 6w6d, but baby was only measuring 5w6d. We could see a possible heartbeat but couldn't hear anything. follow up scheduled on Monday.On October 25, 2013 at 4 weeks 0 days pregnant
Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Since I had to start heparin injections, I was going to be late on 14dpo because I had to be given a tutorial since it is my first time. After telling her on a Friday, I was fired that following Monday. Now in process of filing EEOC complaint.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Got a real squinter at 8dpo, and only took it because we were going to an amusement park and I wanted to make absolutely sure if I could ride roller coasters or not. I didn't ride anywaysâ?¦just in case. Two days later, got a definite but faint line and confirmed with a beta of just 10!! It did go up to 30 by 12dpo and 54 by 14dpoâ?¦.and then I stopped with the betas so I wouldn't go crazy anymore.
