Started Childbirth Classes
Did our first of 3 classes at Southlake. Hopefully by the time we're done, we're smarter than when we started!
On July 26, 2014 at 30 weeks 1 day pregnant
Baby Shower
Had my baby shower at Jill's house. Small group of girls, but all of those that matter came!

Picked a Name
Well, I emailed my better half, and I think I've chosen the name. Ordinarily, I'm against 2 middle names, but I can't decide, so she's going to have 2!

Failed the GTT
Found out that I failed the GTT, not by a lot, but by some.
starting was 6.0 (should be less than 5.3)
1 hour was 11.3 (should be less than 10.6)
2 hour was 8.6 (should be less than 9)
So off I go next week to the diabetes clinic for some education.

Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test
Did the terrible orange drink test, and failed (not by much, but I did fail). Found out on the 17th that I failed, and started down the GD route.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I may have felt it before, but sitting in my CQI meeting, I felt butterflies in my abdomen and have felt it again since. It's Boo!

First Prenatal Appointment
First met with Dr.Watt and reviewed info transferred from the fertility clinic.

Bought Baby's First Outfit
We stopped in a Babys R Us, and bought the cutest outfits... Some pink, some not... but all super cute!

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Finally cornered Kevin and told him I am pregnant!

Found Out Baby's Gender
We had the Harmony test done, and Dr L called and it's a girl!!! 12 weeks and we know!

Prental Test: Harmony
Did it at 10 weeks 2 days, found out the results at 12 weeks 1 day, and very low risk for Trisomy 21, 18 and 13 (like 1:10,000), and it's a girl!!

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
At 6 weeks 3 days, we went into Create and got to see Boo's heartbeat... just 124bpm, but the best thing I've seen in a long time!

First Positive Pregnancy Test
We got the call from the clinic around 1:45 saying the beta was positive, and a great value of 77!!
