First Ultrasound
Transvaginal ultrasound was done at our first prenatal appointment. There's only one jellybean in there.

First Prenatal Appointment
Blood pressure was a little high for the second time in the office. We met Dr. Beck for the first time. She wants to transfer me to a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist because I'm "on the cusp of being high-risk." Next appointment is April 1st. I am going to try to wait that long to decide whether to transfer or wait it out. If I transfer, I will have to deliver at UAMS.

Announced Pregnancy to Family
We invited my mother and sister out to dinner at Loca Luna. I made my daughter a shirt that said, "BIG SISTER" in rhinestones on the front. After we all ordered our meal, I took my daughter's jacket off. She got down from the table to go aroung to the other side to see my mother and sister. When she came around the table, everyone could see her shirt. Everyone was surprised and happy.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I have been taking HPTs all month...all negative. After eating at IHOP with hubby, I came home to go to bed. I decided to take one of the dip strip HPTs just out of couriosity. At the same time, I decided to use the same urine to do the last digital HPT. I was looking at the dip strip, trying to figure out if my eyes were playing tricks on me or if I really saw a second line. Then, I happened to look over at the digital test and it said "POSITIVE 1-2" Meaning 1-2 weeks since conception.

Told Husband/Partner
After taking the two HPTs, I decided I needed to take another digital test to be sure. Also, I needed some things from Walmart any way. I went to Walmart, bought another box of digital HPTs and also bought a cheapo baby bottle and a gender neutral outfit that said, "I love my family." I came home. Took the other test...it was positive. Then, I put both digital HPTs inside the baby bottle. I laid the baby bottle on hubby's pillow and put the outfit on top of it. Then, I covered it all with the sheet. About 30 minutes later hubby came home and I was in bed pretending to use my phone. When he got close to the bed, I started recording video. He pulled back the covers and laughed, then said, "are you really?"
