We had names picked out for both boy and girl early on, but now that we know we are having a boy, his name is Nicolas Andrew Ghilarducci.

Found Out Baby's Gender
Had our first ultrasound this day and found out we are having a boy :DOn January 30, 2012 at 19 weeks 6 days pregnant
Announced Baby's Gender to Family
We went to Ricky's parents after our appointment to share the news with them, and let the rest of our family and friends know within the next 24 hrs.

First Ultrasound
Had our first ultrasound 1/30/12. It went very well, got to find out that we are having a boy and got to see lil Nicolas moving around a lot. He was all twisted up at one point with his feet up by his head. On January 15, 2012 at 17 weeks 5 days pregnant
Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I am like 99.9% sure that I felt that baby moving on this day during by best friend Renee's mom's memorial service, while the pastor was speaking. It was an amazing feeling, and cannot wait to start feeling more on a regular basis and stronger.

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
My mother-in-law took me to get some maternity clothes, as my Christmas gift, I started wearing them immediately. They are all so cute and do not even look like maternity clothes. I am trying to make my regular jeans last as long as possible and hoping not to have to buy maternity jeans.

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
On this day, we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time, it brought a tear to my eye! We also got to hear a couple kicks while listening to the heartbeat, they sounded like someone rubbing across the microphone.

First Prenatal Appointment
Our first appt was early, just confirm a heart beat and make sure everything was going good so far.

Announced Pregnancy to Family
Ricky's mom had a feeling that I was pregnant because I was having hot flashes and did not drink while we went to the lake the weekend before. She asked Ricky at breakfast this day if I was. We were waiting to tell them till we went to the doctors on 10/28, to confirm, but she already knew. We started telling family and a few close friends after our first doctors appt. and told everyone else after the first trimester was over. We wanted to make sure everything was good, and baby was healthy.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
We had planned to wait till the end of the week, 10/21, but I was so anxious to know that we took it a few days early. It came up positive w/30 seconds.
