My Milestones & Events

On March 28, 2012 at 25 weeks 0 days pregnant
Breasts leaking
My husbands uncle Evan made me aware of this milestone when i was cleaning house and he looked down and said " your boobs are leaking" lol- i couldnt stop laughing. I had to change my shirt 2 times that day. GEEZE :)

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
At the Denver March Pow-Wow and i put his hand to my tummy and she gave him 1 BIG kick. The smile on his face was ear to ear!!!!! He has been waiting on this for a while :) Happened at 8:32 pm

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
Old Navy was having a buy one get one sale on tshirts so i got a few. :)

On March 1, 2012 at 21 weeks 1 day pregnant
Picked a Name
We decided on this day to go with Jordyn Marie. This was also the day that we found out my husbands brother was killed in action. :( :)

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
I was so excited to know the sex that i rescheduled my appointment to just 1 day sooner than the original date. lol. As soon as we found out we called all of his family to let them know and called my dad and friends to let them in on the action as well. :) Everyone (i mean everyone) expected me to have a Girl. So needless to say no one was suprised. Excited but not suprised.

Found Out Baby's Gender
Couldnt wait the extra day for the original appointment time so i rescheduled hehe :)

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
Let them know "SUPRISE" im having a baby. They were pretty nice about it, although granting me PAID maternity leave would have been a lot nicer :)

Bought Baby's First Outfit
We went to buy my husbands brother a baby outfit to send to him and ended up buying ourselves a cute little newborn onesie. :)

Announced Pregnancy to Family
My husband and i have beed trying for a child for 3 years now and when we finally read the blue lines on the test neither one of us could stop ourselves from calling everyone we knew. :)

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I was having menstrual cramps without the period for like 3 weeks, so i decided to call my doctor and schedual an appointment. She advised me to take a pregnancy test before the appointment; against my "ok, im sure im not pregnant" attitude i went out and purchased 1. I was so 100% positive that i wasnt pregnant that i waited 3 days before i even remembered to use it. I had gone out that day and bought my husband a new DVD and told him on the phone that when he got home that i had a suprise for him. Just before he got home i decided to take the test to get it out of the way for my appointment the next day, after doing the "deed" i put the test on the bathroom counter and forgot about it. When my husband got home He went to start the shower and saw the test on the counter, all i remember is him yelling"love, what does 2 lines on a pregnancy test mean?" :D
